Eucharist

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, “Take and eat; this is my body.” - Matthew 26:26

The Eucharist at St. Joseph

In addition to the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, our parish encourages parishioners to spend time with the Blessed Sacrament during Adoration. Please see below for ministries and services relating to the Most Blessed Sacrament in our parish.

First Holy Communion
Preparation for First Holy Communion typically takes place in the Second Grade either in a parochial school, St. Mary's in Glasgow, or through the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) Program. The Mass preparation and reception of this Sacrament for the first time is organized through the parish office, in coordination with the Priest.
