St. Joseph Catholic Church Serving Howard County

Welcome to St. Joseph Church

We are a small but active faith community, comprised of 100 households from all over the Howard County area. Whether you are new to the area or just visiting, we would love for you to join us at Mass. Our family in faith is connected with the beautiful St. Mary Catholic Church in Glasgow, Missouri, and we encourage you to visit them as well. We hope this website is a helpful tool for you in learning about us and the Catholic Faith.

PARISH RESOURCES

As pilgrims on a journey, we are guided by the Holy Spirit to know and serve the Lord, by reaching out to others in love and service. Our parish offers these resources to parishioners to enrich their spiritual life, enhance their knowledge and form them as missionary disciples.

Parish Library

St. Joseph's parish library contains a wide variety of books for parishioners to check out. The library is temporarily located in the main education classroom but will soon be located in the back of the side chapel of the church. If you would like to check out a book please see our secretary Beverly Markland.

Catholic Supply Orders

Looking for some new Catholic supplies or needing to replenish some old ones, St. Joseph has suppliers and can help you with your ordering. Please see Beverly Markland if you would like to see what items are available to order.

STEWARDSHIP

As Christian stewards, we receive God's gifts gratefully, cultivate them responsibly, share them lovingly in justice with others, and return them with increase to the Lord.

VOCATIONS

All Christians are called to service by virtue of their baptism. The call to priesthood and religious life is heard at various ages and circumstances of life; God’s call is often incarnated through the words, example, and support of others.

Help us to awaken the call within those called to ordination or vowed religious life.
